Hire of costumes without actors, the costume must be returned the next working day, if by post we will take the date of the postmark only if you use our preferred service please make sure you send it recorded 24hr and have a tracking number, we recommend only parcelforce.com 24hr service to return, any other service you risk being late and will result in loss of deposit, it is also wise you ensure the goods for at least £100 so if it should get lost you are covered. we recommend only www.parcelforcre.com 24hr service. once the item has been returned to us we will check it and refund your deposit, please allow 48hr. some card payments can take up to 10 days to show in your account, this is not us it's your bank.
The outfits are very expensive and hard to clean, any damage will be taken out of the deposit, we will not charge you for little marks that come out easy, the average charge is £5 for dirty feet & hands and £10 for body suit depending on how bad.
Loss or damage to our costume or any part of our costume you will lose your deposit and be charged for the replacement.
Cancel booking, you will lose your hire fee if you cancel 14 days before the event.
For late/last minute bookings (48hr before the hire date) you might be charged extra postage cost to upgrade the delivery, usually around £5 same applies if you ask for it early, our normal delivery date is Thurs/Friday for weekend hire
Costume with Actors, please note there will be a £20 fee if you should decide to cancel, please note we will travel but only the first 10 miles from our postcode is included in the price after that £0.75 per mile per actor, we do deals so let's talk!
This is a 48hr hire only sat-sun the costumes will be delivered usually by Friday 6 pm for weekday hires please contact us first.
Once you sign for the costume you have taken responsibility for the return, late returns will be charged. failure to return the costume will result in legal action taken towards you, failure to return a hire item is theft and will be reported as such and the police involved. If we have to send you a formal warning letter to return our property there will be an admin charge of £25 we also charge £35 per week per costume for late returns. we do not accept any excuses for late returns we have heard them all, if it's late it cost us money and customers, and you will be charged.
Failed delivery, Occasionally (99% success rate) costumes get lost or turn up late, we always post out in good time using 24/48hr delivery, as long as we have posted it out on time we cannot be held responsible for failed delivery, we will refund the hire cost & deposit only, we do not refund the shipping costs. This also goes for when you return it, as long as you post it back before 1 pm Monday and keep the proof of postage if it gets lost or late we will not charge you for late returns. Wednesday at 12 pm is our cut-off point for returns. Once you have accepted and signed for the costume there are no refunds, if the costume arrives too late refuse delivery and don't sign for it. IMPORTANT It is up to you to track the delivery and make sure you are in to accept the costume, if not you will need to contact your local branch and collect we will not refund your hire fee if you were not able to take delivery or collect from the depot.
All our costumes are hand made and no two are exactly the same, the costume you receive might have been replaced since the picture but it will be that character close or the same picture, there might be slight fabric colour or costume future differences if you are unsure please ask for up to date pictures of our latest costume. if you keep the costume for the hire period you cannot ask for a refund under no circumstance, it will need to be returned the same day, so please check on arrival you are happy with it.
